Founder & Stylist
For Anna, hair has always been tied to identity and self-expression. Influenced by a lifelong interest in music, fashion, art, and creative culture, she was drawn to the way personal style can communicate something before a word is spoken.
With over 20 years behind the chair, Anna specializes in razor cuts, bobs, curls, natural texture, and lived-in color. Her work balances technical precision with an intuitive approach, creating hair that feels effortless, personal, and true to the individual wearing it.
Her background includes Vidal Sassoon training and mentorship from some of Los Angeles’ most respected stylists, though her inspiration often comes from outside the beauty industry—from museums, travel, nature, and the people and places she encounters along the way.
Maggie Gaster
STYLIST/COLORIST
Maggie began her career as a hairdresser in New York City, where she spent over a decade at Seagull Haircutters, a radical feminist space rooted in the queer NYC art-world and riot grrrl music scene. Under the guidance of her mentors there, and with a foundation in Vidal Sassoon cutting, she developed her own style and learned to collaborate closely with her clients, creating hair that feels authentic to them.
Specializing in thick, curly, and wavy hair textures, as well as difficult growth patterns, Maggie tailors her cuts to each client’s personal style and daily routine. Her haircuts are easy to wear, simple to style, and grow out softly. She also loves creating low-maintenance color while prioritizing the health and integrity of the hair.
Maggie believes hair shouldn’t be a burden—it should be something you don’t have to think too much about, helping you feel like the best version of yourself. Based in Los Angeles, she returns to New York every few months to see her longtime clients and looks forward to meeting new ones here!
